Galloway Township Community Services held its third annual Christmas tree lighting on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 6:30pm. Mayor Don Purdy, Deputy Mayor Tony Coppola, Councilman Tony DiPietro, Councilman Rich Clute and Chief of Police Donna Higbee attended along with a large amount of Galloway families. There were free hot chocolate and assorted Christmas cookies provided by the ambulance squad, while they played cheerful Christmas music on the loud speaker. This year the Galloway Township Police Department had the honor of bringing Santa Claus in to light the tree with his Christmas magic. Families stayed and took pictures with Santa in front of the Galloway Christmas tree. Community Services Director Beth Stasuk, Jennifer DiLuzio, Jen Hahn and staff put together another great Galloway Event.
